Create the ultimate flight simulator experience with the Gleim Virtual Cockpit™. While the all-in-one simulator chassis is built specifically for flight sims, it is also great for racing sims and gaming, and can even be used as a computer workstation. The sports car style seat has multiple positions and reclines for maximum comfort. The heavy-duty steel-frame construction provides stability and durability. The triple-monitor mount is standard, providing the ultimate panoramic experience. The seat, monitor arms, and trays are adjustable so you can customize the setup to create the most realistic experience possible.
Note: The Gleim X-plane Flight Training Course is not included. Add your training course for Private Pilot here.
The airplane is not always the best classroom. Operating under controlled conditions, the Gleim Virtual Cockpit™ is the ideal training solution for both VFR and IFR students. Flight schools, colleges and universities, and schools with STEM programs can also use the Virtual Cockpit to enhance training programs, saving students time and money, while creating safe, competent pilots. Well-prepared students are more likely to complete their training and recommend flight training to others.
The Gleim Virtual Cockpit™ creates the ultimate flight simulation experience for training with the Gleim X-Plane Flight Training Course.
Compatible with a variety of peripherals.
The computer system is purposely designed to allow for triple display* (or quad display) flight simming on three (or four) 1080P displays. The high performance PC meets or exceeds all of the recommended system requirements for X-Plane, which is our recommended flight simulation software. It also does a great job at running Prepar3D and FSX!
Mass storage is typically the bottleneck in just about every system. So, how do we reduce this bottleneck? We do this by including a 500GB SSD (solid state drive). The SSD vastly reduces Windows OS and X-Plane load times.
*The Ultimate set includes 3 monitors.
Internet connection required for product activation and updates. (Some functions will not work without a connection).
The Honeycomb Alpha Flight Controls Yoke & Switch Panel is the most advanced flight simulation system available to simmers, flight students and pilots. Featuring a full 180° yoke rotation with smooth control and no center detent or dead zone. The base includes a switch panel with master, alternator, avionics and light switches as well as a 5-position ignition switch.
Pro-grade Flight Rudder Pedals add a critical facet of the pilot experience to your flight simulation setup. Control the rudder and toe brakes of your aircraft with your feet—just like the real deal. These feature self-centering pedals with adjustable damping. Elevate your level of in-sim airplane precision with full-featured Flight Rudder Pedals. The Rudder Pedals’ fluid motion enables accurate command over your aircraft, while differential braking provides independent control of the left and right toe brakes.
The Flight Throttle Quadrant allows for precise control. All levers are fully programmable and detachable, so you can configure any combination of throttle, flaps, mixture or propeller pitch. Just arrange lever knobs in the configuration that works best and assign commands from your favorite sim. The levers’ detents—physical markings indicating where a certain action takes places—simplify control of your plane’s idle and reverse thrusters.
The floor space required will depend on the configuration and size of monitors used.
