Pilots, air traffic controllers, and simulation enthusiasts of all ages are invited to come together and explore the latest developments in flight simulation at the 2019 FlightSimExpo. Gleim Aviation is excited to be a Premier Class Sponsor for the event, which will take place June 7-9 in Orlando, Florida. The event sold out last year with more than 1,100 attendees and nearly 50 exhibitors. This year’s event will be hosted at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld and we expect even larger crowds than last year.
Whether you’re a professional pilot or an aviation enthusiast, you will enjoy the many opportunities to immerse yourself in the virtual world of simulation. Test the latest high-tech equipment and peripherals while networking with the simulation community from around the world. FlightSimExpo will have tons of educational opportunities for both the new and experienced. Pilots can learn how to incorporate flight simulation to enhance flight training, proficiency, and safety.
What’s new this year?
On the expo floor, hardware and software companies will be showcasing their products and services. Attendees will be able to try simulators and new products from developers across the industry, meet FAA air traffic controllers, and learn about local non-profit aviation organizations.
Seminars will be taking place next to the exhibit hall throughout the event. Topics will include ‘how-to’ seminars on setting up a flight simulator, using online services, and even building your own simulator at home using real aircraft parts. Attendees will hear from airline pilots, flight dispatchers, simulation enthusiasts, virtual air traffic controllers, and flight simulation developers.
Gleim Aviation will be exhibiting alongside many other flight sim industry leaders, such as X-Plane, the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and nearly 50 others. Registration for FlightSimExpo includes a free, 6-month membership to the EAA. This membership provides free access to six editions of EAA Sport Aviation Magazine, local EAA chapters, and more than 300 museums, as well as discounted attendance at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh. Everyone attending will get some Gleim swag!
